Black in Tech

Black people face barriers everyday. From glass walls, to skill gaps, to folks thinking our lives don't matter (Black lives do matter), it becomes a fight to press on at times. We, of the NSBE Portland Professionals Chapter know these struggles, especially from within the STEM fields, where we're often the only black faces in our workplaces.

National Society of Black Engineers, Portland Professionals is inviting you to have a conversation on empowering/strengthening the Black Community in STEM fields while also building community through Black-led technologies.

Our goal is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

Come join the conversation. Bring your experiences. Walk in with concerns. Walk out with power and solutions.
